Background and Beliefs of Forever Adventure
Marriage plays a foundational role in God’s creation and redemptive purposes. Man and woman are made in God’s image. As a couple they are given an incredible mandate to raise the next generation and steward His creation. They also have the awesome privilege of tangibly reflecting the image of God and representing the relationship and love Christ has for His people. Yes, marriage’s meaning and purpose are far greater than simply a personal relationship.
Forever Adventure was born out of a desire to inspire and transform marriages and families by raising up marriage champions who will spark a marriage movement around the world. Marriage champions are people passionate about connecting with Jesus and one another at a heart level and helping marriages and families flourish in their churches, neighborhoods, and communities. They pursue God’s destiny for their lives and families and desire to leave a legacy for generations to come.
Marriage is an exciting adventure where couples, in love with Jesus, seek to glorify Him in their life together and Him in His work to renew all things. Forever Adventure seeks to inspire, encourage, and equip individuals and couples to be marriage champions in their homes, churches, and communities.
The foundation for Forever Adventure’s worldview and its beliefs and practices is the Bible, God’s story of love and hope for all people. Accordingly, we believe that:
- marriage is a loving, covenant relationship established by God, joining one man and one woman in a faithful, lifelong union; Gen. 2:24; Matt. 19:5
- sexual expression is a beautiful gift from God which He intends to be expressed in the marriage relationship; Heb. 13:4
- marriage uniquely expresses the image of God, the Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – and the love relationship between Christ and His people; Gen. 1:27; Eph. 5
- God has given every marriage a unique role and responsibility to reflect His glory and steward His creation. Gen. 1:28
Our Mission
Help raise Marriage Champions who are passionate about connecting with Jesus and one another at a heart level in their own marriages and joining with Him to encourage and strengthen marriages and families in their churches and communities.
Our Vision
Participate in a marriage movement by identifying, encouraging, and equipping couples and individuals to be Marriage Champions in every church and community around the world.
PERSONAL
Be in a vital, transforming relationship with Jesus so you can glorify God by being the person God has created you to be.
FAMILY
Raise up children who love Jesus and desire to love and serve others. See one’s home as a place of love, acceptance, and encouragement for family, friends, and neighbors.
MARRIAGE
Have a blessed marriage so you can be a blessing to others. God’s calling, destiny, and purpose for your marriage and family can only be understood and fulfilled through a vital relationship with Jesus.
Communities/Society
Realize our marriages/families are the basic cell of society and understand the incredible power of the Holy Spirit in our midst for blessing and transforming our families, neighborhoods, communities, and beyond.

Our Approach
Raise up marriage champions who will be part of a movement of God working to restore and nurture His purposes for marriage and family in churches and communities around the world.
Strengthen marriages by restoring a culture of marriage in churches by working with Marriage Champions to establish “best marriage practices” in their churches. Marriage Champions work with the blessing and under the authority of their pastor and church leaders.
Inspire, encourage, and equip young Christian couples, engaged or married, to be Marriage Champions in their spheres of influence through use of social media, activities, events, and gatherings.
Establish Marriage Roundtables which are small groups of Marriage Champions from various churches who meet regularly to pray, encourage one another, share ideas, learn about resources and get feedback for questions and challenges they’re facing regarding their marriage strengthening efforts.
Create website and social media tools with regularly updated materials and resources for marriage champions to use in churches in their network of relationships. It will be interactive, informative, and engaging.
